On Saturday 12th December, SAS was the sole sponsor of the British Rowing Indoor Championships (BRIC) held at the Olympic Velodrome. BRIC is British Rowing’s annual festival of rowing open to all level of rowers as an opportunity to compete against the current GB rowing teams. As part of our sponsorship, SAS entered a corporate relay team made up of David Smith, John Spooner, Oliver Crowley and our Olympic gold medallist ambassador Mark Hunter MBE. The team competed against other corporate teams as well as current members of the GB Rowing team. The SAS team finished at an incredible 4th place in one of their races, having only been pipped to a medal place by the GB Women’s relay team.
